When there are Leaves Falling, They end up Everywhere
This picture is hotlinked on 13 different pages. Most of them are MySpace pages. The lookee site is an MSN Lives Spaces page, in Chinese. Deviantart is a pretty cool site where people post their art. The epuls.pl forum is Polish and demands registration. Xanga appears to be a mixed language site.
Penny-arcade is a place to discuss games, gaming, and comics. Registration is not required to view the page. The thread is entitled horrible thread ideas, and the picture is illustrating creaky rafters. Ok, sure, why not - te wind was definitely pushing things around.

MySpace Pilgrim Rachel and the Ladybugs and Aphids
Rachel is using this photo as a tiled backgroud for her MySpace page. This one doesn't work so well, but, as always, it's great to see the image getting around. Oh, let's see, Rachel has 24 friends, so its getting into a few eyeballs.
Our roses were infested. I bought two bags of ladybugs and set them free, shaking them onto the roses, for the most part. Soon, no more aphids.
Thanks! Rachel!

Does a Drop of Water have Buddha Nature?
The Drop of Water reflects, rests quiet, wonders, if a rising tide raises all bridges, what need of bridges in a world made of water.
That is a glamorous trap of detail - let's examine the footprints instead. I archived the first 2 years and some change of the Middle-Fork access_log, and the second epoch begins 15nov2006.
Here are the hotlinks for this picture:

The first three are variations of one blog. Of them, the first and third are two versions of the main page for Dharmasattva's Meditations, and the second is a permalink for the post.
Thanks! Dharmasattva!
The second set of three are from bloglines, a blog RSS aggregator site, where you can maintain a selection of blogs. Each time you login, you see the new posts. bloglines relies on cookies for session information, and all these hotlinks tell me is that one, and maybe two or three, people have Middle-Fork in their list.
Thanks! Mystery Host from Bloglines!
The third hotlink is another fine place to sit by the river, and lo, we find all is maya. Is any Drop of Water the same drop? The electron flux is rather substantial in this vale of hertz. The swamp of waveform must surely overwhelm any illusion of rest we clutch so closely. Well, anyway,
Thanks, again! Dharmasattva!
hmm, you aren't by any chance the Mystery Host as well? It would be one of them tricycles!
We tricycled together earlier, in the comments of the post:

Thanks, R.V.
I hope you don't mind the link to your image. My site gets very little traffic so I figured the bandwidth would be OK.
I will host locally if you want.
Thanks again.
With metta,
D.S.

No, please don't host locally - I love hotlinks. I have a blog extolling those who hotlink:

SwEeT HOneY 4U Displays the Purple Flowers and Water
They are hyacinths. SwEeT HOneY 4U has chosen to use them as a tiled display. This one doesn't work so well in this format, but I'm happy to see it getting around. It's been linked a few times in the last couple of months.
I think that SwEeT_HOneY_4U is in Columbia, or at least thats the one place name I see glancing down the page. The page is in English.
Thanks! SwEeT HOneY 4U
The hotlinking patterns have changed a bit. Popular pictures are very popular. I written some scripts to scrap the hotlinking addresses from the access log, and create most of a post with them, but it's a bit clunky and I haven't had the time. I'm going to try and catch up again.
UPDATE
There is still a hotlink on Serena's private myspace page.
